Die cutting is used for creating shapes or slits in printed items.  For example if you wish to create a circular invite, innovative mailing piece or slits to hold a business card then you will need to have your finished piece die cut. There is a minimum charge to create a die which varies depending on how complex the requirement is. The die is then used to trim the printed item.
